Night Nannying

Sleep deprivation and young babies (unfortunately) go hand in hand and it can be difficult to get the rest you so desperately need.  This is where I can help. Booking me as a Night Nurse will give you the opportunity to get some restorative sleep, safe in the knowledge that your baby is being well cared for.

When you book me as a Night Nurse I will arrive at your house around 9pm (7pm if you’d like me to help with bedtime) we’ll chat about your day and I’ll answer any questions you may have, or talk through any concerns, before I head up to the nursery to spend the night with the baby. 

I will feed, change and settle the baby as necessary during the night so that you can sleep soundly. If you are breastfeeding you can leave me some expressed breast milk, or formula, so that I can bottle feed baby.  I can, alternatively, bring your baby to you (or call you to come to the nursery) so you can breastfeed before handing baby back to me to resettle. Whichever works best for you.


In the morning, when you are refreshed and energised, I will spend some time discussing the night with you as well as leaving you some written notes. I can advise you on your baby’s routine and give you tips and ideas to help ensure your baby is getting adequate sleep and will sleep through the night as soon as possible. If there are bottles to be washed and sterilised or nappy bins to be emptied, then this will be done before I leave (usually at 7am) so that you are all set up for a lovely day with your new baby.

Nights can be booked in advance for between 1 and 6 nights per week, for as long as you’d like them to continue. Whilst I am booked with you as your Night Nurse, I will try to be available for remote support via email, Whatsapp and phone during the day.
